Issue 1 – August 2008

In the first issue of Degsy’s Midnight Runners the content was very much wide and varied. We look back down memory lane at the old West Stand and its eventual repalcement in 1995, plus the John Beck era is reviewed.
In our search for more, more, more general football knowledge, an article on FC United tells of the fight between fans and the corporate style clubs we have today.
A comparison is made between North End and Cardiff City as we look at how the Bluebirds defied all the odds to fly the flag for the Championship and reach the FA Cup final, could we ever achieve this again?
No one’s heard much of Billy Davies lately – which is unusual. Fortunately with “Dwarf Dairies” we can keep you up to date with the latest happenings for Scotland’s shortest man.
The recently released Preston book “Waiting for Glory” is reviewed and the author is quizzed on how following the whites used to be.
Current affairs relate to the new Invincibles Pavillion and also how Neil Mellor is gonna rip this league on a regualr basis, alright bitches?
We also have time to check out football firms far and wide across the world, including our very own boys “Burberry Rodent” – not one to be missed I assure you.
