Reading & Plymouth

Well we managed to stop the rot, four losses on the bounce didn’t become five thankfully although I’m still not quite sure how we managed it.

Reading are obviously a very good outfit and to be honest we were never ever in it until that farce of an own goal to make it 1-1. Credit to us though because we did then get about them and probably deserved a bit of luck to take the lead from Elliott.

How Reading never equalised in that last five minutes will forever remain a mystery to me – penalty appeals, woodwork hit, clearances of the line, etc. What relief at FT though.

And so onto Plymouth….well for 199 anyway. Plymouth on a tuesday night? Nutters!

I don’t really wish to discuss it much, we lost 1-0. Sounded like our only real chances of the entire game arrived in the last 30 seconds and we missed both.

Earlier on Lonergan had gone walkabouts on a corner and a typical soft goal was the order of the day. Tough to take but on we go, Sheff United away next, see you there cha.
