Burnley & Swansea

Losing a derby is never fun, and I would have to say that sums up the visit to Turf Moor pretty well for me.

Despite taking the lead we never really deserved it and as the match went on it seemed clear it was a case of when and not if the Dingles would score. Too many mistakes and 3-1 down was fair enough, Burnley bossed it.

The one ray of light I took from the match was that hopefully Irvine would have learned one or two things about certain players and their fighting spirit (or lack of), however seeing the team that came on for Swansea, then maybe not.

The seven and a half year tuesday night record was handed over without so much as a whimper – the bright start was never recaputered when Bodde caught Lonners asleep.

I wouldn’t condone booing Carter but I must admit I was very relieved to see him subbed off, he’s not a tenth of the player Chaplow is. Rant, rant, rant!!
