Apologises for the lack of updates but I’ve been busy and was born lazy.
The past three games have seen a draw, win and a loss. Coventry was an absolute snooze fest it has to be said. Well I say Coventry, I mean the 90 minutes. Leaving Preston at 9am with the Strollers ensured an enjoyable trip, shame we couldn’t return with a full points haul but alas.
However “normal service was resumed” with the visit of Forest. We don’t lose on tuesday’s night at Deepdale, we just don’t. Regardless of how drunk or not drunk Mr Mawene may appear! Hell even Darren Carter managed to put in a decent shift for at least an hour, the magic of playing under the floodlights eh!?
And then Wolves…what to say? Beaten by a better side? Yes. Could we have played better? Yes. Did we miss Chaplow? Yes. Is Mick Mcarthey a knob? Yes.
It was a shame that with over 14,000 nobbers on we couldn’t have performed better but there was no disgrace in losing to a Wolves side who are absolutely on fire at the moment. It was only just over 12 months ago we saw another side smash three past us at Deepdale – Colchester. Quite a difference I’m sure you’d agree.
